As most of my friends know, I am not a big Halloween fan, in fact, I avoid most of the merriment associated with the holiday. But, I loved the idea of putting Carter in a costume, so here is my attempt at participating in Halloween. If you want to see more pictures, click here.

What a cute little monkey grinder! Very adorable costume. I watched the video on your Flikr account and cracked up when Carter flopped backwards and lay down at the end of the clip. Sam is picking up on that same tactic - he's learning how to arch his back and go stiff-as-a-board when he doesn't want to be placed somewhere. And he also does the whole "limp legs" thing when he doesn't feel like standing up.
Kids are silly.
Anyhow, great costume. Where did you find it?
Yeah, the first several pictures were me trying to get him to stand up and of course that is when they turn to rubber.
Thanks for the compliment on the costume. I chose to sew it myself this year which was much more challenging than I thought it would be. This was my first sewing adventure in over a year so I was a bit scared/frustrated. Once the jumpsuit was done, the other pieces went together pretty easily. I am now thinking of other patterns I really want to make now that I am on a roll.

Shauna! Carter is so dang cute... especially as a monkey. I am glad you put him in a costume! Thanks so much for your well wishes with my pregnancy. I am so excited! 10 1/2 weeks so far... we hear the heartbeat in less than a week!
I know! He's much better today, so all should be well. Is your little guy's birthday the same day as Spencer's, or the day before? (Spence is on the 18th.) Happy first to him!

I had no idea you were preggers Shauna! You need to blog more! I'm so excited for you! I hope your its all going well for you...do you know if it is a boy or a girl? Do you have names? Mine is uneventful so far, just like the last one, but we like it that way:)
